Every ingredient in our formulations earns its place.
When we began developing our Magnesium Body Butter, we knew fragrance needed to be considered with the same care as every other ingredient. It wasn't there to become the centre of attention. It was there to complete the experience.
We chose Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil for its soft botanical aroma and the quiet balance it brings to the formula. Rather than overpowering the senses, it sits comfortably alongside magnesium, shea butter and jojoba oil, allowing each ingredient to contribute to the product without competing for attention.
This reflects the philosophy behind every IJB formulation.
We believe thoughtful body care doesn't require an extensive ingredient list. It requires ingredients chosen with intention, ingredients that each have a clear purpose within the formula and work together to create a product that feels balanced, uncomplicated and effortless to use.
Magnesium provides the foundation of the formulation, while shea butter helps leave the skin feeling nourished and soft. Jojoba oil delivers lightweight hydration and a smooth, elegant finish. Lavender completes the experience with a gentle botanical aroma that becomes part of the ritual rather than the focus of it.
Nothing has been included simply because it's expected. Every ingredient has earned its place.
